Job Description


Currently we are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer (Flex) for our Shenzhen office to make the team even stronger.

This position requires a senior Flex developer to work in NEO core team. The person is expected to be an individual contributor who will be working alongside the team to develop, communicate with business and push out changes to production with help of the deployment team.


Work with web shell team to migrate Adobe Flex to HTML/JavaScript component;
Work on Adobe Flex code as a team, apply adjustment as project requires;
Write high-quality JavaScript code: alone or as part of the team;
Participate in Scrum activities: daily standups, demo sessions, retrospectives, planning, etc;
Constantly acquire new skills and applies on the project;
Participate in client discussions;
Be an individual contributor who will be working alongside the team on development;
Communicate with business and push out changes to production with the help of the deployment team.

Desired Skill and Experience


Degree in a Computer Science related discipline or equivalent;
Good hands-on experience in Adobe Flex. Must be very excellent in Flex, Flex component lifecycle, event handler. Understanding of Parsley framework is a plus;
Solid experience in JavaScript, including NodeJS, NPM;
Excellent problem analysis and innovation skills;
Excellent team collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with business users within a global multicultural team environment;
Good communication skills in English.


Understanding of common web services, protocols and data formats: REST, HTTP and XML;
Intermediate knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
